Hey, Welcome kylarkj.

That’s because you converted CV/Data to Midi but you didn’t transported the velocity value to it so there was no data to send out as midi velocity.

I tested little more:

problem is, that node accept velocity representation both in float [0 - 1] and integer [1 - 127] and 1 is always interpreted as vel-127. Especially confusing is that the slider on node itself is integer, so its impossible to set velocity = 1 on node itself. Setting the value in float representation works fine. (so its only minor UI problem I gues )
